Well talk about panic attacks, I think not knowing what shape mom was gonna be in when she got home, made me a nervous wreck! Sue handles this so well or at least it doesn't show much on the outside, its amazing. I'm still not sure exactly what is going on-did they send her home to die or is there a chance she will be able to continue chemo? Am I just not wanting to face the truth-well I know one thing for sure-I AM NOT READY TO NOT HAVE MOM IN MY LIFE!!!!! In my 53 years being on this earth, today was the first time I have ever heard my dad tell mom he loved her-really really loved her and then give her a kiss. I sure hope he has told her this in private a few times during their marriage. It is the saddest thing to watch a strong hard headed independant rock be so incoherent. Its heart breaking. I plan on stopping every day and helping all I can. I know Sue will and so will our nephew David because I asked him to. I hope Mike does too. As for Laynes end of things-who knows if they can stay sober long enuf! That was not nice, I am sorry, I must be feeling the stress of the day. On a lighter note-Ed's CT scan was clear-nothing major. Possibly an abcess or fluid build up from previous surgeries. Praise the Lord! Love to All

NOT DOING SO GOOD
Well its been one of those days we often dread. Our mom is back in the hospital and dad says it doesn't look good. I can't imagine she could go down hill so fast, its just beyond me. I'm hoping and praying that some how she gains some strength. Talk about feeling useless. I am not ready to not have my mom in my life! I hope she knows that. Thank God 2 of us made peace before she got bad. It has to have been comforting to her!! Its my way, maybe not the right way but sometimes the only way I get thru some things is to sleep. I want to but I cannot seem to shut my mind off. Pray for mom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

A Day at Auburn
Hello out there! Ed wanted to go to the Kruse Auction yesterday but I felt he needed one more day of rest. We went today and boy was it sparse!! I did find a 2002 Custom Infinity and believe this or not a Chrysler 300 that was customized to look like a Bently that I would love to own.! The prices people had on the muscle cars made me think they really didn't want to sell or the don't know this is a recession!!!! It also makes you realize what a poor person you are. We heard that one of the Kruse owner is in jail for fraud and one is in the hospital. Also the marsalls were there and they were shutting the place down tonite. Interesting! See what having lots of money does. I just got done grating zuccini and a 10lb. cabbage. I made 7 loaves of z. bread and 2 z. pies and a ton of freezer slaw. Hope alls well with everyone.............M

My poor sick husband
Well, Ed hasn't gotten any better so I insisted he call Dr. Stapel and guess what folks-he has pneumonia! This all starting to sound very familiar! I only hope it wasn't that stupid Grissom that read his x-ray. He is the guy in radiology that told me on July 12th that I had lung cancer and it had spread from the bottom of my right lung to the lymph nodes behind my breast bone! And that he has been doing this for 22 years he should know what he's talking about. As you probably already know I didn't have lung cancer, I have some disease where my body over reacts to stuff like infection and antibiotics. I also had a fungus in my lung. Enuf about that. I just hope Ed gets better by the holiday weekend. The good news for the day- my boys just got back from the vets and they are very good. Cuba is slightly over weight and Gibbs is slightly more but other than that all is well. Some time this weekend I hope Nikki has time to show me how to put pictures on this thing. The ones Sue has are great. She's always onto new things FAST.
